The Firm provides advice on legal issues related to criminal law in the context of business activity, for which purpose we have specialized in those areas that over the years have taken a leading role in the universe of businesses, such as economic criminal law in general, tax crime, exchange and customs criminal law, compliance, environmental law and hazardous waste, intellectual, industrial and trademark law, fraud, cybercrimes, crimes covered by the corporate criminal liability law and medical malpractice.

The services of the Firm include the prevention of those crimes (tax, exchange, customs, environmental, etc.) through our contribution in the decision-making process and business layout, planning of anti-fraud and control strategies, audits and corporate investigations, evaluation of the provenance of criminal actions -complaints-, among others.

Likewise, according to the changes that modernity and the demands of globalization bring, we have also specialized in money laundering and terrorist financing, its prevention and defense, even such that two of our partners are co-founders of the ARGENTINE FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY AND ANALYSIS ON THE PREVENTION OF MONEY LAUNDERING AND FINANCING OF TERRORISM (FAPLA).

In the strictly judicial sphere, we assume defenses and complaints before the criminal courts at the Federal, National and local jurisdictions of Buenos Aires City, at the Province of Buenos Aires and, with the support of our correspondent law firms, throughout the national territory, the Americas and countries in Europe mostly connected to our country.

This service includes acting both before the Courts and First Instance Prosecutors at the preliminary investigation stage, as well as appeals before the appeals courts (Cassation and Appeals Chambers of the different jurisdictions and jurisdictions) and, finally, in the oral trial stage before the National Criminal, Federal and Criminal Economic Oral Courts.

In addition, our team has vast experience in the processing of alternative solutions provided for in the procedural orders of the different jurisdictions, such as probations, criminal conciliation or comprehensive compensation for damages in the field, attendance at the Alternative Conflict Resolution Offices -ORAC- and the Criminal Mediation Offices belonging to the criminal, contravention and misdemeanor courts of the City of Buenos Aires.

Finally, with the exceptionality that the specialty has, we carry out extraordinary appeals before the Argentine’s Supreme Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Superior Court of Justice of Buenos Aires City; and we practice the defense of rights before the International Courts, continental and global, for which our lawyers have specialized.
